Celebrating HSU’s Annual Alumni Art Show, October 14-26

Hardin-Simmons University, known for its rich tradition in the arts, is excited to once again showcase the creative talents of its alumni in the annual Alumni Art Show. Running from October 14 to October 26, this year’s exhibition features an impressive range of works, including ceramics, paintings, sculptures, installation art, digital illustrations, video art, and animation.

Caleb Dulock, head of the fine arts department at HSU, expressed the importance of this event, saying, “The Alumni Art Show allows us to celebrate and honor the creative achievements of our alumni, while also offering current students valuable opportunities to connect with professionals in their field.”

The exhibition will be held at the Ira M. Taylor Memorial Gallery, open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A special public reception with live artist talks will take place on October 24 from 5:00-7:00 p.m., offering attendees a chance to meet the artists and enjoy refreshments. Additionally, a Homecoming Reception will be held on October 26 from 5:00-6:30 p.m.
